About Langley Flying school (LFS)

 

Langley Flying School was founded in the fall of 1994, and originated as a small single-instructor and single-aeroplane Flight Training Unit. The School received its Flight Training Operating Certificate from Transport Canada on January 17th, 1995, and it has since grown to its current size, including twelve aircrafts, a Transport Canada certified Flight Simulator,  a staff of twelve Flight Instructors, three administrative staff, and four Teaching Assistants.  During its existence, Langley Flying School has conducted over 50,000 hours of flight training and has graduated hundreds private and professional pilots.  You can visit our Langley Flying School's Graduates List and Staff Alumni to track our Commerical Pilot graduates and their current activity in the aviation industry.  Langley Flying School provides training for Private Pilots and Commercial Pilots, as well as pilots qualified with the advance Multi-engine Ratings, Instrument Ratings, and Instructor Ratings.  Our staff of Flight Instructor is drawn from our Commercial Pilot Graduates who have expressed interest in teaching flying.

About University Of The Fraser Valley (UFV)

 

The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), formerly known as University College of the Fraser Valley and Fraser Valley College, is a Canadian public university with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Hope, British Columbia. Founded in 1974 as Fraser Valley College, it was a response to the need for expanded vocational training in the communities of the Fraser Valley. In 1988, it became a university college, with degree-granting status.[5] As the University College of the Fraser Valley, it grew rapidly, becoming one of the largest university colleges in Canada.

The Program

 

Successful pilots and business people have a lot in common — they are skilled communicators, develop plans for success, assess conditions, and anticipate change. Take your passion for flight to new heights with UFV Aviation’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

You get to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, private pilot’s license, commercial pilot’s license, and several ratings that enable you to fly multiple types of aircraft in varying conditions. Your pilot’s license is in accordance with ICAO standards, meaning you can fly domestically and internationally.

Throughout the program, you take a combination of flight training, aviation theory, and academic courses.

You complete your flight training at an external flight training provider.
