In Memory of Matt Robic

It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of Matt Robic.  Matt worked as a Flight Instructor at Langley Flying School for the first half of 2008, leaving that summer to work first in Ontario, an then later as an advanced instrument flight training pilot in Fiji . During his time at Langley Flying School, Matt excelled at making effective connections with his students, guiding a number of them through their first solo flights.  He was an outstanding pilot and held great promise for a successful career with the airlines.

Perhaps most important, Matt was a young man who did not perceive limits in his abilities, aspirations, and dreams—stuff that only comes from a supportive and nurturing family.
