Langley Flying School Graduates move to become Jet Airway Captains on the Boeing 737-800

Commercial Pilot Graduates Manish Marwaha and Mahesh Kaushik have moved to the Captain’s seat with Jet Airways after starting with that company flying Boeing 737-800s in 2005.
Manish Marwaha is pictured above (middle) with his Flight Instructor, Dave Woollam and Pilot Examiner Donn Richardson following the successful completion of Manish Commercial Pilot Flight Test in 2004.
Manish graduated from Langley Flying School early in 2004, while Mahesh completed his training in 2005—both were students of then Flight Instructor Dave Woollam, who himself is now a training Captain with Maldivian Air Taxi.
“I got a call from Manish a couple days back,” wrote Dave in a recent email, “he is now upgraded as Captain on the Boeing 737 with Jet Airways.” Dave coached Manish right from Private Pilot Licence through to his Commercial Pilot Licence, including Manish's Multi-engine Class and Instrument Ratings. “Last week” wrote Dave, “was one of my proudest moments since leaving LFS, knowing where he is now in his career.”
Manish was formally released as Captain on October 12, 2011, with his initial routes ranging from Thailand to the Middle East. Mahesh Kaushik moved to Langley Flying School from the Victoria Flying Club in 2004, completing his advanced training with Dave Woollam in 2005; Mahesh's expected release date is anticipated in November.
